1.0 The Problem

Missing timesheets mean unbilled hours and lost revenue for service businesses.

2.0 Claude's Job

A consultant lost a week of billable-time records for some clients and had Claude Cowork audit the Microsoft 365 files they'd worked on. Given the full month's folder, it produced a day-by-day breakdown with time per client project, apparently separating the user's edits from colleagues' and active work from time a file was just open. The user says it matched their own records and saved enough admin time to pay for the subscription.

3.0 Caution

Rebuilt timesheets can look precise and still mix up who did the work. Compare a day you remember before you bill a client from the new sheet.

It is handy with folders of files. Open one result you already know is right before you trust the whole batch.

4.0Try the job

The original post did not include the exact wording they used. The story still shows the job. Describe your own version the way you would brief a new hire, and stay nearby while it works.
