Learn a confusing topic with a tutor that quizzes you
Explanations online move too fast or assume you already know the basics, so some topics never quite click.
What the agent did
Anu Joy, a tech writer at Android Police, used Gemini as a private tutor for subjects she usually just nodded along to, like inflation, blockchain, and the basics of machine learning. She asked it to teach in small checkpoints and to ask one question after each part, only moving on when she answered correctly. When she got stuck it explained again with a different comparison. She also had it build short daily lessons, about ten minutes each, and then tried explaining each idea back so it could point out what she had wrong.
What the owner still checks
A tutor that sounds sure of itself can still be wrong. For anything that affects money, health, or a decision, check the key facts against a trusted source before you rely on them.
Gemini can read your open tabs and Google files when you allow it. Turn that off around banking or private pages, and open the source before you trust an answer.

I want to understand [topic], but I'm a beginner. Here is what I think I know so far: [your understanding]. Teach it to me in short checkpoints. After each checkpoint, ask me one question and wait for my answer. If I get it wrong, explain it again with a different everyday example before moving on. At the end, let me explain the whole thing back to you and tell me where I'm wrong or oversimplifying.
