1.0 The job
Todd Saunders asked Muse to use Verizon Fios's website chat and negotiate a better price. The Verizon agent first said he already had the lowest price, so he told Muse to "push harder," and Verizon came back with a better offer. He reports saving $180 a year and says he'd never have had the patience to sit in that chat himself.
2.0 The fault
Owners overpay for internet and phone service because haggling with providers takes too much time.
3.0 Caution
The first offer was "you are already at the lowest price." He had to tell Muse to push. Stay close enough to approve a new price before anyone agrees to a contract.
Meta Muse can click around and use your accounts when you let it. Before it spends money, sends an email, or publishes something, decide if that step needs your OK.
4.0Try the job
The original post did not include the exact wording they used. The story still shows the job. Describe your own version the way you would brief a new hire, and stay nearby while it works.
