Turn your saved Instagram and Facebook posts into a recipe book
Saved recipe posts pile up and get forgotten because there's no easy way to browse them.
What the agent did
Karissa Bell at Engadget saves lots of recipe videos on Instagram but rarely goes back to cook them. While trying out Meta's Muse, she asked it to go through everything she had saved on Facebook and Instagram, pull out the recipes, and organize them so they were easy to read and search. It came back with recipes grouped by type, each with ingredients, steps, and a link to the original post. She also had it make a searchable list of saved restaurant posts, sorted by city.
What the owner still checks
Read-only is enough here. Before you start, check Muse's settings: she suggests turning off the option that lets Meta train on your chats and setting permissions to always ask. Check amounts and steps against the original video before you cook, since the agent can make mistakes.
Meta Muse can click around and use your accounts when you let it. Before it spends money, sends an email, or publishes something, decide if that step needs your OK.
Try this job
Starter prompt written by Agents 101. This was written for this guide. It is not a quote from the original post. Change the names, amounts, and accounts so they match you before you send it.
Go through the posts and videos I've saved on Instagram and Facebook and find the ones that are recipes. Turn them into a recipe book I can search: group them by type (for example breakfast, weeknight dinners, desserts), and for each one list the dish name, ingredients, steps, and a link back to the original post. If a post doesn't show the full recipe, say so instead of guessing. Don't like, comment, share, unsave, or post anything.
