Plan dinners from what's in the fridge, plus a shopping list

Deciding what to cook every night, and remembering what to buy, is a small chore that never ends.

What the agent did

Patrick Hearn, writing for XDA Developers, described using Perplexity for the daily question of what to eat. He told it which ingredients he had and asked for meals using just those, then narrowed it to dishes that take under half an hour. From there he asked for a plan for the week and a shopping list to go with it. If it suggested something he didn't like, he said so and it steered away from that.

What the owner still checks

Double-check recipes for allergies and cooking times yourself. AI can list an ingredient that isn't safe for your diet.

The value is in the links under each answer. Click a couple before you repeat a fact or a number.

I have [list what's in your fridge and pantry]. Suggest three dinners I can make mostly from these in under 30 minutes. [Any allergies or foods to avoid.] Then make a plan for the rest of the week and a shopping list of what I'm missing, grouped by store section.
