Get car insurance quotes from several companies at once
Getting car insurance quotes means filling in the same long form on site after site.
What the agent did
A developer who blogs as Extroverted Developer had Claude Cowork shop for car insurance. Claude opened the big insurers' websites and filled in their quote forms side by side, while he answered its questions in plain words just once. When it had questions about coverage, he uploaded his current policy so it could match the coverage, and he added his home insurance policy so it could check for a bundle discount. It then compared the quotes and recommended one. He says it wasn't fully hands-off, but he cut his car insurance by 50%, something earlier human assistant services never managed for him.
What the owner still checks
Make sure each quote has the same coverage as your current policy, or the cheap one may just cover less. Expect insurers to call or email after you request quotes. Buy the new policy before you cancel the old one so you're never uninsured.
It is handy with folders of files. Open one result you already know is right before you trust the whole batch.

I want to compare car insurance quotes. I've attached my current policy's declarations page. 1) Ask me any questions you need, all at once, before you start. 2) Get quotes from [4-5] major insurers' official websites with the same coverage limits and deductibles as my current policy. 3) If I've attached my home insurance policy, also check whether bundling would save money. 4) Give me a side-by-side table: insurer, 6-month or yearly price, coverage, deductibles, and anything that doesn't match my current policy. 5) Recommend one and explain why. Don't buy, sign, or cancel anything; I'll do that myself.
