1.0 The job

A post says Muse replaced QuickBooks and saved $400 a year. The person asked it to log in, download two years of receipts, and cancel the subscription.

2.0 The fault

Getting records out of a subscription before you cancel it is tedious enough that many owners keep paying.

3.0 Caution

The original post told the agent to cancel the subscription. This version stops before that. You do the cancelling, on the account you mean to close, after you check the downloaded files.

Meta Muse can click around and use your accounts when you let it. Before it spends money, sends an email, or publishes something, decide if that step needs your OK.

4.0Try the job

This is a safer version of the job, not a word-for-word copy. The agent prepares the work and stops before anything you should do yourself. Change the names, amounts, and accounts so they match your business before you send it.

Log in to my QuickBooks and download my receipts from the last 2 years into a folder I can save on my computer. Do not cancel anything. When the files are ready, list the steps I would take to cancel the subscription myself, and wait for me.
