Clean up messy meeting notes into minutes you can send
Notes taken in a hurry are hard for anyone else to read, and tidying them up is a chore that keeps getting pushed back.
What the agent did
John Gruber, an IT writer at gitbit, tried Copilot in Word on a page of quick research notes. He asked it to rewrite the notes as professional meeting minutes, expand the short bullets, and replace the original text. It did the rewrite well, but put the result in its chat pane instead of the document, and when he asked it to insert the text, the headings came out as plain symbols rather than Word styles. He still found it a fast way to turn scribbles into something he could share.
What the owner still checks
Read the minutes before you send them, especially names, dates, and who agreed to what. If the result shows up in the side pane, copy it in and fix the heading styles by hand.
Give it your real notes or a real file to start from. With a thin request it can invent details, so read every claim before it goes out.

Rewrite this document as meeting minutes I can send to the team: a one-line purpose, decisions made, action items with an owner and due date, and open questions. Expand short notes into full sentences, but don't add anything that isn't in my notes. Mark anything unclear with [CHECK].
